As a business decision, CSI is growing we will continue to campaign and utilize our record setting drag racing vehicles but we are growing to three Pontiac drift cars for the 2009 season. One of the key deciding factors was that MATCO TOOLS VoTech division benefits immensely from our exposure to the youth market for school recruiting purposes, tools sales, and loyalty. In turn, all of our other partners benefit from the additional exposure at the college campuses we visit during the year. The Drift program allows us to visit more school campuses on behalf of MATCO. It adds overall value.
The Cooper Tire / Matco Tools Drift car from this past season was a show stopper both in performance and appearance. Cooper Tire wants to be the performance tire of choice and CSI feels they can take them to the next plateau. Cooper Tires was the tire of choice for the GM Factory backed CSI Pontiac Drift Solstice.
CSI also believe that drifting is a compliment to the sport compact lifestyle as a whole. Concentrating on the East coast this past season was based on the sports ability to grow in this region.
CSI has brought their work ethic they have developed from drag racing to drifting. The never say quit attitude, preparedness and consistency. CSI wants to deliver podium finishes and pride to our sponsors.
We are building CSI as a marketing gateway to reach the Gen "Y' demographic within their own environment; socially, at the track and at school. We want to help our sponsors build brand loyalty at a young age, so that they maintain customers for life.
